Rabbit Vibrator
A brief history of the Rabbit Vibrator
The idea for multi-function vibrators comes from Japan, where it is illegal to model sex toys after human genitalia. So their products resemble objects and animals. The animal theme did well, so many toys today resemble anything from bears and dolphins to bees and butterflies... and rabbits.
Rabbit vibrators are "combination" or "dual-action" vibrators. There are many different varieties on the market, all offering the same basic type of dual-stimulation. They have a clitoral stimulator located near the base of the shaft and a section of rotating beads, balls or pearls in the middle. The clitoral stimulator resembles an animal (a rabbit in the case of a rabbit vibrator), and it provides direct clitoral stimulation. Rotating beads are usually located mid-way down the shaft. They rotate or pulse, stimulating the interior walls of the vagina and the labia. Some rabbit vibrators also have a twisting shaft, but it's not required.
It may sound like sensory overload, but the features operate independently and can be controlled separately. For example, if you enjoy the pearls but don't want clitoral stimulation, you can turn the clitoral stimulator intensity level down (or even off) while turning up the speed of the pearls.
Many women have enjoyed the stimulation provided by rabbit vibrators, but some might not be turned on by the combination of features as much as others. If you're considering buying one but you aren't sure if it would be right for you, you should ask yourself what kind of stimulation you like, generally. If you have no vibrator experience, then draw on your real-life sexual experience. Do you enjoy clitoral stimulation, or is it too sensitive? Do you enjoy deep vaginal penetration? If you have a sense of how a rabbit vibrator works, you will be better equipped to decide whether one would be right for you. Remember that you can turn any and all of the features off, so if the twisting shaft sounds great but you aren't thrilled about clitoral stimulation, you can turn the vibrations off.
Fortunately, there is a large selection of rabbit vibrators to choose from. Most offer similar functionality, so the real difference is usually the quality. Some examples include the Rabbit Pearl, which is made by Vibratex and is beautifully handcrafted. It's a high quality vibrator that has all the bells and whistles, and will outlast many other similar products. Another tried-and-true favourite is the Jack Rabbit Vibrator, which has a reputation for bringing women to orgasm reliably and without effort. It has rotating pearls and a twisting shaft as well as a bunny that stimulates the clitoris. Other products like the Waterproof Jack Rabbit, Impulse Jack Rabbit and Rechargeable Jack Rabbit offer features not found in the more basic models. All of these rabbit vibrators provide a comparable experience, and which one you choose should be based on features, price and most importantly, overall appeal.
